Like I said on twitter the other day, I have decided to take up blogging.

To take blogging seriously you have to spend some time on it and that is the very reason that has kept me from doing it in the past. Managing two companies, designing and coding new solutions and on top of that try your best to be a good husband can really eat up all your time, trust me.

In order to be able to manage all of this, I need some downtime. Some time to reflect, plan and last but not least, get some rest. Now, blogging may not be restful (at least not in the non web-development sense of the word), but it fits in perfectly with reflection and planning.

I realised that if I start taking blogging seriously I would have to schedule more downtime, reflect over each and every day and thereby learn more from my experiences.

Now, hopefully my blogging will not only be helpful for myself, but also of some use for my readers. I am really hoping to get lots of feedback in the comments, and to connect with plenty of new people.

As the old saying goes: “The best way to learn is to teach”, I believe that includes blogging and I hope that you will find my writing useful.
